IS MAYBACH MUSIC STRONG ENOUGH TO ROCK WITHOUT ROSS? 3 TEAMS THAT FELL WITHOUT THEIR LEADER

Written by J. Bachelor

The Boss Ricky Ross, love him or hate him, is a hard worker. After suffering multiple seizures, Rozay was still looking to hop on stage and perform for loyal fans, but decided to not risk any further complications as he decided to pull out of an upcoming show

Rick Ross pulled out of a scheduled concert in Greensboro, NC on Saturday night, citing health concerns a day after reportedly suffering seizures on two different flights. A spokesperson for the Greensboro Coliseum Complex tells Fox affiliate WGHP that the rapper canceled less than an hour before the NC A&T homecoming concert was set to begin. The Greensboro concert went on as scheduled, with DJ Khaled and Marsha Ambrosius on the bill. Ross' next scheduled performance is Friday, Oct. 21 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Two days later, he's slotted to perform along with Busta Rhymes at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.(Billboard)
If Ross is forced to ride the sideline for a long period of time due to his poor health, does he have a strong enough roster of rappers on deck to carry the torch of his coveted Maybach Music Group?
Let's take a look at three teams that all but vanished after their lead figure became inactive:
Harlem World
Harlem World wasn't exactly Young Money, but then, they never really got a chance to produce any stars as their leader, Ma$eturned in his mic for a Bible when he decided it was time to retire from rap. Too new to be missed, the clan quietly left the rap scene as quickly as they came.
Junior Mafia
Biggie spread love because, well, it's the Brooklyn way. His group,Junior Mafia created an opportunity for its members to possibly have their music catch on with the masses, and thus, make a lane for themselves in this thing we call Hip hop. Unfortunately, B.I.G.'s death (and less than stellar sales of the Mafia's debut album,Conspiracy, made the group an afterthought in the grand scheme of East Coast rap.
Disturbing tha Peace
DTP was not just a group of rappers lumped together to drop an album. It was (and still is) a record label. Although the label has several rap artists under its umbrella, the squad's head honchoLudacris, seems to be more interested in Hollywood than getting DTP artists' albums on retail shelves. In fact, the last non-Luda release from DTP was in 2009 by Playaz Circle.
Best of wishes to Rozay, his team seems to be doing well now as Wale is set to drop his album within the next few weeks. Add another Ross album to the mix before 2012 and the crew is definitely shining. But what we wanna ask you is this: If Ross has to play the sideline for a moment, will MMG continue to thrive?
Speaking of rap crews, check out Grand Hustle head honcho T.I. rapping over the Jay and Yeezy track "N*ggas in Paris"

RICK ROSS' EX PLACES BLAME OVER SEIZURES, "HE'S NOT 20 YRS. OLD ANYMORE, NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT HIM"

Written by Cyrus Langhorne

Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross' ex-girlfriend, actress Elise Neal, has stepped forward to speak on the rapper's recent publicized seizures and weighed in on who is ultimately to blame for his ailments.

From Neal's perspective, Ross' home record label, Def Jamputs too much pressure on him to be a non-stop working machine.
"I think they're [his record label] pushing him too hard," Elise tellsRumorFix. "I know he's very career driven, but I don't think they take enough time to care about what they're doing to his body. They don't think about him or his health, pushing him to do all these videos, pushing tours and shows. He is not 20 years old anymore -- no one seems to care about him really or overall his health...If you have a medical emergency ... if you have the people who are closest around you saying 'You're alright' -- you're going to be more apt to say 'I'm alright.'" (RumorFix)
Ross reportedly checked out of a hospital Sunday (October 16) following back-to-back seizures a couple days prior.
Can we get a Rozaaaaaay? After being hospitalized two times in a single day, Rick Ross is now out and about and appears to be doing better. At approximately 9:30 p.m. ET, the Bawse's DJ,Sam Sneaker tweeted a photo of the Maybach Music Group head honcho with the message: "The Boss is good...@rickyrozay #MMG." Around the same time DJ Khaled sent out a separate but very similar photo via Twitter with the message: "My brother ROZAY!!IS GOOD!!! @rickyrozay @Iamguccipucci #powercircle." In both photos Ross, Khaled and MMG's Gucci Pucci posed in front of Rozay's Memphis, Tennessee Wing Stop restaurant. (RapFix)
Over the weekend, the "Boss" canceled a North Carolina appearance in light of his medical condition.
The Greensboro concert went on as schedued, with DJ Khaled and Marsha Ambrosius on the bill. Ross' next scheduled performance is Friday, Oct. 21 at The Tabernacle in Atlanta. Two days later, he's slotted to perform along with Busta Rhymes at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. (Billboard)
Last January, Ricky Rozay and Neal were spotted on multiple occasions.
Rick Ross was spotted having dinner with actress Elise Neal at Mr. Chow's in Hollywood last night. The two have been seen out & about on several occasions and even attended last year's Soul Train Awards together. Elise used to date 50 Cent and Rick once dated female rapperFoxy Brown. KHIA GETS AT THE CARTERS, "DEATH THREATS FROM JAY-Z, WHAT'S HE GOING TO DO? STAB ME?"

Written by Cyrus Langhorne

Southern rapper Khia is at it again but rather than focusing her attention on a rap nemesis likeNicki Minaj, she is taking aim at Grammy-winning singer Beyonce
After claiming Beyonce believes a new "Party" remix record will outperform her own early 2000's "My Neck, My Back" anthem, Khia went on a tirade against the singer and husband/rapper Jay-Z.
"@beyonce has been smoking rocks if she thinks her J. Cole remix flop "Party" will be as big as My Neck My Back.," she tweetedOctober 25th.
"Goodmorning xox, death threats from @jayz What is he going to do stab me, because I like solange better then @beyonce!"
"Don't hate because I like Matthew better the Tina. I don't rock bedazzled jeans shirts & jackets @beyonce"
"@beyonce I know you watched my VLOG and ran with my advice youtube.com/watch?v=onkUmf..."
"Now how you going to hate on b*tch who got swagger jacked? Just know this I have SOMETHING real cute for Matthews daughter! #GETMONEYB*TCH (Khia's Twitter)
Last summer, Khia went after Beyonce and other high profile entertainers.
"Why are all these h*es -- get all this free promotion," Khia asked in the video referring to Amber Rose. "When is this season gonna be over? I just don't understand what the f*ck is really going on. [laughs] ... [Beyonce], we are sick and tired of looking at you and the wigs. ... [Chris Brown], what's really going on with you putting all of your business out here all on the Internet? First you're whooping and dragging Rihanna and now you're showing your d*ck down to the knees?" ("4th of July Blog")
She also accused Beyonce of being jealous toward ex-Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland getting her own solo shine.
"[Amber Rose] She cute!!!! I aint gone judge the h*e because we all know she been on a strippa pole since she was 5 years old, suckin cl*ts since 12, and decided to TRICK and SUCK every n*gga in the game and all of a sudden wanna be a model at 35...BeyoncĂ©: F*ck this hoe.........Can Kelly Rowland make a little bit of MONEY???? ... Chris Brown: Oooooooooooo Hoooooooney...... How many records you sold????Cuz the sissy's and punks all around the world saw ALLLLLLLL your bizness ...Rick Ross: Is you really selling dope on your IPhone?????? I did see you at the Tupac center but I am not sure if you were just there to promote that tired a** single or there to support Queen Affine and the children because all the money you claim you got, I didn't see you cut no check" [sic] (Khia's MySpace)
In 2010, Khia said she was looking to move from rap and into singing.
"I'm kind of bored with hip-hop. I've done everything that I really wanted to do. I'm not really getting into the hip-hop stuff because it's more about the drama than it is about the talent," she tells VIBE about going in a new direction musically. "It's more about the look and the images and all of that instead of about the art and I'm not really into that. I'm trying to do something bigger and better." (VIBE)

BEANIE SIGEL'S EX-GIRL EXPOSES DRAKE, "HE IS A PHENOMENAL 'PEACH EATER' " [AUDIO]

Written by Cyrus Langhorne

"Bad Girls Club" star Catya aka Ms. Cat has stepped up to speak on her past relationship withYoung Money's Drake and said during their year-long union, they were in love.
Having met after landing a video vixen spot in Drizzy's 2009 "Best I Ever Had" music video, Cat said they shared a close bond shortly after.
"I was in love, he was in love and by the way in the song he said he was in love, so don't try to switch it up now," she explained in an interview. "I never mentioned you, you mentioned me. It was good. I'm talking family dinners and we in Whole Foods pushing the cart around. It was a regular relationship. I was in love and he was in love but at the end of the day he started getting a little bit too loose. It's a problem [when] you had the kind of relationship we had. That was my dude; it wasn't somebody I was just kicking it with. If you were just kicking it, you can do what you wanna do but I was yours and you were mine. .... He is a phenomenal 'peach eater' and he is black and Jewish and the black side is Mandingo." (Hot 107.9)
She also explained what ultimately tore them apart, making their split inevitable.
"Well, we broke up because I wanted to do the Bad Girls Club and that was a whole big issue too. I was like, 'I have my owncareer and I need to move forward to and he was kind of like 'I really don't want you to go on there and embarrass me.' I was like, 'Well, you know my career is my career. You know you're Drake and you're cool but I need to be cool too. I can't sit around and try to get pregnant by you and be a baby mama. I need to make a career for myself.'" (Hot 107.9)
Along with Drizzy, Cat has reportedly been romantically linked to Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel.
The 24-year-old Philadelphia native has appeared in King Magazine, Smooth Magazine, and various videos like Drake's "Best I Ever Had," Fabolous' "Throw it in the Bag," and more. She is also known for dating Beanie Sigel and other celebrities whom she won't name but she says make don't be deceived her pretty face and taut hourglass frame because she isn't afraid to scrap. "I'm just an honest laid back person and I live by my own rules and I do things the way I want to do them, but I will snatch a b*tch," she tells VIBE. "But that's only when I'm pushed." (VIBE)
Last year, the Canadian rapper admitted his struggle with understanding love.
"I feel like I've said 'I love you' ... but I don't know if I understand it yet," Drake says. "I write about it and I try and make sense of it, but I'm not really sure ... I thought I would by now, but maybe it's not meant for me to understand yet." (PEOPLE)
