WHAT WAS THE SICKEST APPLE/STEVE JOBS RAP LINE? 5 TOP SPITTERS SALUTE THE LATE CEO

Written by J. Bachelor

The digital and entertainment world was shocked to learn of the death of former Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Although Jobs never so much as spit a freestyle, his name and products he helped create can be found all throughout the world of Hip Hop.
"A conscious n*gga with mac like Steven Jobs." - Common (Southside, Finding Forever)

Chi-town's Nas wants one thing to be clear: Although he's a little Hollywood now, and yeah, some of his songs are downright sentimental, he's still a B-Boy at heart. A B-Boy that'll snatch your girl if the opportunity strikes. Is that yo chick?

"I'm smoking d***, I'm on my cellphone/ I'm selling d*** straight off the iPhone/ He wanna quote, he talkin' 9 zones." - Rick Ross (9 Piece)
You don't have to be a part of Marlo's fictional crew from The Wire to know that this is a bad idea, as conducting large-scale drug deals on a contract phone will surely land you behind bars. Still though, Rozay's catchy track "9 Piece" gives a very special shotout to the world's most popular cellphone. Be careful though, Ricky.

"Her body nice, fame dime- Give u that iPhone 4,FaceTime" - Fabolous (You Be Killin' Em, There is No Competition 2)
Fab snatched up [insert job title here] Amber Rose for the video for this track. And yes, she was killin' em throughout the entire vid. Loso also gave shine to the iPhone 4's coolest feature: The ability to face chat, or see, the person with whom your speaking with. Ayo Amber: Just make sure when you're speaking to Fab that Wiz doesn't pop up in the background. Yikes.

"If God had an iPod I'd be on his playlist." - Cyhi the Prynce (So Appalled, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy)
Cyhi took it the ultimate high with this line, which asserts that his skills are so nice that even the man above would cop his music off iTunes. With an ego like that, it's no wonder he and Kanye West get along so well.

T.I. Gives First Interview Since Release From Prison, Says He's Going Back To The 'Old T.I.'

T.I. Gives First Interview Since Release From Prison, Says He's Going Back To The 'Old T.I.'

With Tip just a couple days out of prison, he promises to appeal more to his Bank Head supporters and says he doesn't owe explanations to his critics.
T.I. finished his 11-month sentence this week and officially returned home on Thursday. After almost a year of out of the public eye, he sat down for his first interview with Atlanta's V-103 radio station to talk about family, public perception, and future plans.
He explained that prior to his drug charge, he got so caught up in being a role model that he began reaching to live up to other people's expectations. This, he feels, influenced his music, and not necessarily in a good way.
"When I went through everything I was going through, [I became] the new, sophisticated, Paper Trail, upper echelon T.I.," he said. "All of those people [who liked this new T.I.] were the ones quickest to give me their back pockets to kiss. The ones who really stayed down with me was them Bank Head natives. The ones who supported them first two albums. So I feel like I'ma stay down with who stayed down with me."

Tip said he knows people are disappointed in his actions, but he doesn't feel the need to explain those actions as he has himself and a family to consider first.

"I owe that to myself. I really don't owe anyone any explanation. I think I had to grow to that point. I can't live for ya'll. Ya'll like my music and I appreciate that. Ya'll like me as a person and I appreciate that wholeheartedly. However, I don't owe all these explanations to all these different people I don't even know. If you have disagreements with the way I move, with the way I operate, that's fine, you're entitled to it. But at the end of the day, I got to live my life for these people. For my family, for my children, and I'm going to do what's best for them. You don't have to believe me. And I can't make you believe me. There's nothing I can say to make you believe me. But I got to live my life for [my family]."

T.I. also gave his thoughts on the bus incident, premiered the B.I.G. KRIT produced and featured "I'm Flexin' ," and hinted at the title of his upcoming album.

The Diplomats Talk History With Jay-Z, Deleting His "Oh Boy" Remix Verse

The Diplomats Talk History With Jay-Z, Deleting His
Cam'ron, Juelz Santana, and the rest of the crew shed a little light on the history behind their beef with Jay-Z.
The Diplomats recently took part in Red Bull Music Academy's "Five Out of Five" tour. The crew took part in an info session and discussed, among other things, their contentious history with Jay-Z.
"We walked into the studio, and Jay said, 'I got a surprise for y'all,'" explained Juelz Santana. "[At this point] we was wondering why he didn't want to jump on records that he could've jumped on already. So 'Oh Boy' is already out of this world, gettin' probably like ten thousand spins."
"So we walk up into the studio room, and we're like, 'What's the surprise?' and [Young] Guru pulls up 'Oh Boy,' with a Jay-Z verse. On top of the Jay-Z verse, he's dissing Nas!"
"Cam made [Guru] erase the verse...to the point where Cam told Guru, 'You better erase that, I don't ever want to hear that."
When Cam's time came to speak about Jay, the Harlem rapper pointed largely to Jay-Z's standoffish attitude as the reason for their noted friction. "That's been going on with me and him forever. My first album ever, he comes in to see the Sony studio, he comes in like, 'Yo, lemme talk to you for a minute?'" Cam continued, mimicking Jay. "'I wanted to tell you, I didn't know you was that nice.' ...I said, 'I appreciate it, maybe we can do something for my album.' He said, 'I'm not here to lobby for a spot on your album.'"
Watch the two-part interview below, courtsey of realtalkny.net, in which Cam also talks bringing Mariah Carey to Harlem and touring with Destiny's Child.
