It's no surprise that "Watch The Throne"-related audio drove the week, as did J. Cole's game highlights from "Any Given Sunday #2."
Everybody was watching the "throne" this week. Many audio leaks fell back, as rappers, including Jay-Z early 1990s peers DMX and Busta Rhymes were trying their hand at WTT beats. Meanwhile, a top buzzing emcee's mixtape promotion also led interests. Game, who grabbed plenty of headline, even hung on with his star-studded mixtape track from last week.Jay-Z & Kanye West Rule
As many would have predicted, anything pertaining to Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne dominated conversations and listens this week. With only three songs of the album's 12 leaking to the web, those were #1, #2 and #7. Strangle, a G.O.O.D. Friday leak from last year also reappeared - it was even WTT's Deluxe Edition inclusion, "The Joy." 'Ye was on the minds of many, digging up a "G.O.O.D. Friday" back into relevance. Besides 'Ye and Jay, it was Roc Nation's J. Cole that was driving listens this week.
