A jury of five women and two men have been selected in the murder trial of rapper Lil Boosie.
The jurors were confirmed under heavy security yesterday (May 1), by presiding Judge Mike Erwin.
According to The Advocate, the jurors will remain anonymous be sequestered in a hotel starting tomorrow (May 3).
Lil Boosie, born Torrence Hatch, is accused of hiring a teenager named “Marlo” Mike Louding to kill a 35-year-old named Terry Boyd in October 2009.
Louding, who was 16-years-old at the time, is accused of five other murders, including the murder of Christopher “Nussie” Jackson.
The jury selection phase of the trial, which will continue until a total of 12 jurors and two alternates are selected, began under heavy security.
According to Boosie’s attorneys, opening arguments could begin as early as tomorrow.
