Nicki Minaj posted a $100,000 bail to have her brother released from jail, Page Sixreports. The bond offer included two of Minaj's homes.
"She was prepared to do anything for her brother,” a source told the publication.
Jelani Maraj was arrested Tuesday (December 1) in New York for charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual conduct against a child under the age of 13, the Associated Press reports. He was arraigned Thursday at Nassau University Medical Center because he had to be hospitalized due to a medical condition.
Newsday says "the victim was someone he had access to" and was 12 years old.
Minaj attended her brother's wedding in August.
