Frank Ocean Hits the Studio with Jay-Z and Kanye West

For some, it's hearing their song on the radio. For others, it's seeing that first platinum plaque. For R&B upstart Frank Ocean, sharing studio time with two of the biggest enchiladas in music is a sign that you've made it.

Odd Future's resident crooner revealed that he flew to the Big Apple to work with two hip-hop titans, Jay-Z and Kanye West. While the singing wolf didn't divulge any specifics about the dream session, he made it clear that he truly appreciates an opportunity to collaborate with the duo.

Frank Ocean could only dream of such a glorious opportunity five years ago, when he was punching the clock at Kinkos at attending to customers at AT&T.

Ocean revealed the bit in response to a question posed on his Tumblr page asking him to compare his newfangled fame with his past. "I don’t wanna spoil too much for you, but.. you’re on a plane right now to the east coast to work with kanye west & jay-z. it’s all working out kid. you made it."

Frank Ocean has also been seen in the lab with Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams and Nas. It's unclear whether his collaboration with Hov and Yeezy will end up on Watch the Throne. We'll keep you posted.
