Hip Hop Expresses Condolences For Heavy D

Members of the Hip Hop community share some words for the late Heavy D.

Earlier yesterday afternoon, Heavy D passed away from complications stemming from pneumonia, leaving the Hip Hop community at a loss.

Many figures from the culture took to Twitter to express their condolences and remember the 44-year-old rapper. Rappers, artists and writers including DJ Premier, dream hampton, Lupe Fiasco, Grandmaster Flash and more.
