Jay-Z Brings Big Daddy Kane Out At Brooklyn's Barclays Center

Jay-Z Brings Big Daddy Kane Out At Brooklyn's Barclays Center
Brooklyn legends Jay-Z and Big Daddy Kane rocked the stage on their home turf.
Jay-Z represented Brooklyn all night during his performance at the brand-new Barclay's center on Friday (September 28).
In addition to performing Brooklyn-centric songs like "Where I'm From" and "Brooklyn Go Hard," Jay covered fellow Brooklynite Notorious B.I.G.'s "Kick In the Door" and "Juicy."
But the most special tribute to BK happened when Hov brought out a man instrumental to his career: Big Daddy Kane.
Jay stepped aside for the legend, who performed classic tracks such as "Ain't No Half Steppin,"" "Set It Off" and "Warm It Up Kane."
BDK was instrumental in Jay's early career, including him on the single "Show & Prove" and taking him on tour with him in the early '90s.
"Big Daddy Kane was before me, before B.I.G., we gotta understand our history," said Jay on a night where he repaid his mentor.
