Troubled comedian Katt Williams is reportedly a wanted man in the state of Washington with reports claiming an arrest warrant got issued today (December 12).
Snoop says the former Friday After Next star has him concernedabout what he does next.
Snoop and Katt have been friends for years -- Snoop even appeared in Katt's 2006 comedy special, "The Pimp Chronicles Pt. 1." But yesterday in L.A., Snoop wasn't laughing when we asked how he felt about Katt's recent antics, arrests and impromptu retirement ... telling us, "Katt needs some help man. Somebody needs to really sit him down and get him some help." Snoop continued, "I'm his friend man ... I really wanna see him get some help man before he goes too far." "Whoever really got love for Katt that's around him, you need to take him and go get him some help." (TMZ)
Yesterday, Katt's management team cleared up confusion about his announced retirement.
Earlier this week, a very emotional Katt announced his retirement on a street corner in Seattle ... insisting that he was, "kinda done." But now, Katt's management team says he's undone ... telling us, "Katt is definitely NOT retiring. He will be moving forward with the tour ... Friday is Texas, Saturday New Orleans, and on to Alabama." Management adds, "The reason why he made remarks was due to him feeling totally disrespected by all the things that happen to him in the city of Seattle. He had a moment where he felt very unappreciated. He now just wants to move forward from those unfortunate events and give his fans outstanding shows from this point forward." (TMZ)
A few days prior, Williams said he would remove himself from the stand-up comedy game for good.
"I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up," Williams said in an interview. "I'm kinda done. This is, yeah, I've already discussed it with my kids. I wasn't really gonna do it on a Seattle street, I was gonna go to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or Live Nation." (KOMO)
He got released from police custody after a physical altercation in Seattle last weekend.
Something not so funny is going on with Katt Williams. The actor and stand-up comedian was arrested Sunday after allegedly getting into a bar fight with a family at the World Sports Grille in Seattle. When police arrived on the scene, Williams resisted arrest. The "First Sunday" actor was taken into custody at the King County jail shortly afterward on counts of harassment, assault and obstructing police, though he was released early Monday morning.
